I would like to share my past weekend 1/4 time. We had a test and tune night and this is what i ran 11.7 @ 121 mph! I think this is pretty good for my mods.
list your times and engine and tranny mods, I would just like to compare #'s.
heres a list of my mine.
AEM SHORT RAM INTAKE , XS POWER TURBO MANIFOLD, BUSCHUR 3” DOWN PIPE , BUSCHUR 3" EXHAUST, BUSCHUR HI FLOW CAT , INJEN UPPER AND LOWER IC TUBES , WALBORO 255 FUEL PUMP , STOCK TURBO, PORTED POLISHED O2 HOUSING, GREDDY BOV , HKS 272 CAMS, BUSCHUR INTERCOOLER, APEXi S-AFC,
GREDDY BOOST CONTROLLER, NX INTERCOOLER SPRAYER, BUSHUR MINI BATTERY, CLUTCH MASTER STAGE 4.

 

That's an amazing time and trap. All I can say it you must be one heck of a driver and your car must be a monster. See my list of mods for comparison and your blowing me away. I'm going to assume you were running race gas with the boost up? Any weight reductions?

Please post a slip. I'd like to break it down to figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong.

Post up our times and mods? Laugh. Just go to the drag forum, man, that's what it's for. I will start off by saying that your trap speed is near impossible with those mods on the stock turbo unless you were actually spraying nitrous. I mean, come on, you have an HFC for cryin out loud.

Nvr2old32, I'm curious why you said his driving was amazing compared to yours when you ran the same ET but with 3 less mph. That means your driving was far superior. Driving didn't get him 121mph traps...that's strictly raw power. I do not believe he ran 121mph traps with those mods, though, sorry.

 

I was runing 21psi and i was using nitrous. my mods include nx kit. I dont think this is an amazing time for my mods just a GOOD time. I'm not going to lie about a 1/4 mile time on a forum that everyone can see! I do think my car makes good power and with a good tune of the a/f ratio and nice cool day also makes alot of differenc. This post isn't for ridicule its just for fun! So maybe a better reaction time you would land you a better time!

Sorry, but the NX intercooler sprayer is not "running nitrous." All it does is cool the FMIC. Running nitrous means you are spraying nitrous into the intake system with a wet or dry shot. I would believe 121mph traps if you were really spraying nitrous, and if you were, then you are supposed to say that loud and clear, because it makes a huge difference.

It also helps to use the proper forum and post a timeslip. It doesn't mean anything without a timeslip.

Reaction time does not affect your ET.

 

Man you dont let anything go do you? That was a long time ago and i have new mods a better tune. I know what an d@#n ic sprayer is and does. Sorry for asking a question. I was just curious why are you so set on denying my time.

he is just making a point with that trap speed you should have been a lot faster time, and with that trap speed, its hard to reach with your mods. my mods, dyno #'s and HP/tq are in my sig, and that is the best time i cut. Given, now i think i can cut an 11.6 or so... but still, just hard to believe, especially if you lied earlier about a time you supposedly ran

 

if you trapped 121mph you should be in the low 11sec's maybe 11.0-11.3 at least!
so were you spraying nitrous?
