Talking Fastest OZ Lancer in USA

Just got back from Carlsbad, CA home of Carlsbad raceway where I now hold the title of "Fastest US OZ Lancer!" Found a post about guy running a 13.98 but blew his motor... I ran a 13.82 and then drove back to SD to celebrate. There were traction issues at the track today... 2 evos even had troubles. When i left the fastest time, a black one, was 15.3! I put on some sticky tires and was gooooooonnnnnnneeeeee! Smoked that track. I'll be at RRM Monday with slip and i'll post here. A little wager i have with Rob(AKA ROCK) needs to be settled now! I hope this gives hopes to Lancer owners everywhere that our cars are not slow... rather they are sleepers waiting to be awakened. A huge THANKS and many to RRM for all the support. ROB and GABE have been the best and without them the Lancer would have never realized such an accomplishment. Keep the dreams alive boys and girls cause there is a new ROADSTER in town!

Hey Boe... congrats man!

Just need to work a lil bit on that reaction time
My advice to u is FLOOR IT on the last amber light (before the green lights). That way u get a RT of about .55 to .6

Ill be seeing u @ RRM on Monday.

Thanks Iamkar... RT wasn't really anything i was concerned with seeing that it doesn't equate into ET. I was really just wanting to launch right! I'm not experienced enough to get them both. I'd like to eventually though!

damn thats good to hear. if your profile is right then your running non intercooled at 9 psi. so do u think u could run better times at higher psi with an intercoled kit?

AND HOLY ****! Way to go Boe! Man I wish I could have been there for that. Congratulations on the new record bro, next time I want to be there, and maybe I'll be able to hook you up with some Bogart Racing Wheels, the lightest racing wheel in the market! Man, you have some serious bragging rights now!

Nightrider: was at 9psi and as for intercooled boost levels you can get more horsepower/tq(maybe 5-10) but you can't raise boost higher without serious internal mods and fuel/injector mods. Thanks J's good looking out brother!

Thumbs up Congrats!!

Congratulations on that time! I happen to know the guy that ran the 13.98 and blew his motor. He's from here in Puerto Rico. If all goes well he'll tear up his previous time. Right now he's waiting on his Wiseco pistons. He already has the connecting rods (I believe they are either Crower or Pauter), 750cc injectors , a Bosch fuel pump, a new big *** intercooler, Tial wastegate, and Microtech ECU among other things I can't remeber.

Should be interesting now with the boost turned up safely.

Anyhow, I applaud all effort you guys are putting into your cars. There's nothing like sneaking up on an unsuspecting Evo owner.

BOE IS IT! Fastest Lancer in North America!!!! And we have only just begun! You will get your crown Monday. I know now what we will do to get times to drop but lets face it, no Lancer is going faster and that is faster than Road & Track 1/4 mile time for an EVO. People that doubted non IC setup know now!

CONGRATULATION BOE! I knew I would lose the bet but I wanted to lose!!
