Quote: Well, yeah, with C16 at $10/gal, of course 11.999 will be much more feasible. You didn't say anything about race gas earlier in the thread, though. YOu probably don't even need to mess with C16 unless you're going to get a 2nd custom tune specifically for C16. You could probably do it easily with just some regular 100 or 104oct and the boost cranked.

im going to try 104 next time and and if i dont hit low 12s or high 11s then im will think about c16 cuz i really want to keep my o2 snr.

I took this out of context and I wasn't sure if you were planning on doing 115 with more mods and race gas, but if you're thinking that with a better 60' you will trap higher you have the wrong idea. Lowering your 60' and holding all other factors the same will leave you with a lower trap speed.

Atco is only open on Sundays, if the temp 32 or above.
The track was very slippery. Muscle cars with big slicks were only getting 2.0 - 1.9xx 60'
I'm bone stock and I chirpped 2nd.

Boltz, he was saying 115 with c16, weight redux, and the addition of an o2 housing.

Requires at least 112.35 (unless the timers were off that day).

This is so interesting to see, because less than a month ago, you were trying to decide between a brand new stock IX RS or a used modded VIII. It sure didn't take long for you to make as much or similiar power to that VIII you almost bought.

Okay I was referring to the c16 and more boost. My bad! Good driving by the way I ddin't know it was possible to hit 11's with a 112 trap. Awesome. O2 sensor I don't recall ever having one.

Quote: .48 seconds is a LONG WAY TO GO. People say "if" a lot, but they don't realize how difficult it is to really cut time off their ET. You definitely can hit 11s on a IX with light mods, but you are not going to get near 11s with your current trap speed. Some weight reduction (near-empty gas tank is better than 1/4 tank), the o2 housing (5-10whp), and a real 60' will get you much closer, but don't **** of the drag racing gods by thinking it's easy to cut off half a second. If you think about it, you've maybe cut off half a second from stock so far, so doing another half second will be tough, but it's doable.
