Kept bogging my launches, well everything feels like a bog compared to the 1.69 I cut last week. New this week is a downpipe and boost increase to 26ish spiking. I also threw in 3gallons of VP101 unleaded just to be safe. Still on stock clutch and stock catback. Only mods being Billet Design ecu flash, megan dp/tp, K&N, and boost controller. Car is full weight with spare tire and jack removed, 3150lbs.

I think im going to give my pursuit to 11's a break for a while, I know the car is capable with this mph but I am tired of beating the **** out of it every week. I will go back when I get substantially more power or at least replace the clutch, because Im afraid it will go out on me when I cant afford to replace it.

 

Thats odd you went with a dp before a catback. but either way those are decent times for those mods. Put a good catback on there and a good clutch on there and you will be set.

115 traps almost 116!! God damn!!!!!!!!!!! Were you hitting the limiter in 4th on that run? What rpm were u at?

 

I've seen a few IX's with just a dp, o2 housing, ported exhaust mani and stock catback in the 11's

oh and a cam.


Oh and you weren't bogging if you pulled 1.7 60"s

 

post full slips, those traps should be getting you in the 11s, even with those 60' you are likely shifting slow...

 

yeah you should easily be in the 11s with those 1.7x 60s and 115+ traps

 

i wish i had a 9rs. so how much whp do i need for a low 12 1/4mile?

 

i ran an 11.82 at moroso with the same trap and 1.7 60'

and a 11.98 with a 1.75 60'

u should be there...

 

I tapped the limiter in 4th on one of the passes but Im pretty sure it was after the traps. The video will be up soon so we can make fun of my shifting . I <3 stock catback it's so quiet.

a friend of mine is running 11.8's with 115 traps. your car definitely has it in it!

Is your limiter moved up higher?

 

Tire pressure was un-modified I dont want to leak out all that awesome nitrofill My limiter is at 8k.
