Probably something more like this (RIGHT LANE):

The point is, the attitude was unneeded.

Im just playing around, meant to put a smiley in there. Not a cocky person at all. Although I am pretty damn excited and you guys are raining on my parade.

I shift at 6800-7000 and think that revving it out a bit more may get me down the track faster. I just havent had enough passes to play with it. I knew the car had the power to go 11s shifting at 7k so I just kept doing that all night waiting for the perfect pass to come together. If you watch the video closely you will notice I forgot to lift my right foot on most of those 2-3 shifts

The stock clutch sucks we all know that so the first time I attempted to launch my car like I have all my 1g AWD DSM's I smoked the clutch. So I removed the restrictor pill and tried again, still killing the clutch. I found that I have to come up fast on the clutch damn near dumping to launch without my clutch begging for mercy. So I did that for a while which netted consistent low 1.7s. Then I spun tires a little bit and have since started to release the clutch a tiny bit slower which makes for a fast slip. I was using the new launch technique this night at the track but I am not that consistent with it.

The no air filter thing prolly didnt help but it cant hurt to decrease restriction. For any damage to be done to the motor/turbo their would have to be a pretty magic piece of debris to get through the airbox/snorkel, and maf screen. A little dirt never hurt anything, I definately would not go rallying the car with no air filter though.

I wont be going to the track anytime soon, I accomplished my goal. Now I am trying to get the stock clutch to last long enough for me to save money to purchase a nice carbon twin disk.

Good to hear. You've seemed like a pretty cool dude so far. I congratulate you on having set this goal and now accomplished it. To me, what will be even harder is going the whole summer without trying to push the envelope on what is left with that clutch. Lot's of folks pimping the Exedy Twin HD with great results and they seem to last a while as well, depending on driving style of course.

All my previous passes are on stock catback, this trip I was on stock catback as well but I un-bolted the muffler.
