Its going to be impossible to find what the record is with those exact mods. Its a nice pass yes, but nowhere near a record. There are stock turbo's in the 10's.

I dont want to tell that the record I know its 10 but that is with all of the mods posible with all the weight reduction posible

Like I said, your never going to find the fastest times with a certain amount of mods and stipulations. Thats like saying I want to know what the fastest stock turbo, full weight, '04 GSR, w/out sunroof, running flash, w/100octane, on a Tuesday, w/a 10mph Tailwind, and 18psi tire pressure is.

And drag radials are not street tires, regardless of if you drive them daily or not.

Anyway, this is a car making good power (not great) but being driven better than 99% of the people out there. Great job on that, but there's no way to figure out if it's a "record" when there are so many stipulations.

Nice runs but with your set-up there are a lot of us that could duplicate those times if not do better. Heck me and warrtalon are almost hitting 1.5s on street tires. I could hit 1.61 fairly easy with OEM tires.

well if so then why is not like half of the evo owners not running those times ?

hks 264 272 cam
head studs
hks intake
fmic with upper and lower piping with 1g bov

too bad it had a stock evo 9 turbo on it and not an 8, therefore its not a record. so if i had a DSM eclipse and put on an evo turbo and run my car. its the fastest stock car? there is a difference even though its very slight. and it was on drag radials not stock tires.

That's easy.. not everybody knows how to launch the **** out off an EVO.. it takes time.. something not everyone has and also the chances to go to track.. as often.

I see evos just pulling up and making a pass and be pissed about it.. well maybe if they let there car cool down a bit and in the meantime take the spare tools, and tire out.. and come out with less gas than a full tank maybe they'll see the .3 they crave.. to bust a 11.. instead of blaming there parts and tuners..

Also focus.. on what you are doing.. i hate to hear an EVO being miss shifted or bogged at a launch and blame mitsu for a ****ty clutch.. yes it sucks but its not the worst and if you practice you can actually get a couple of awsome launches out of the silly lil Facker..

hehe some of that i can agree with, but as when you come to more HP in a car its harder to lunch and it seems like with lot of power to wheels on a awd car when bog it a little you get good 60 ft and good time, but then again what kind of tire ya on.

but hey man dont get to mad lol you can lead a horse to water but you cant make them drink it lol.
