that is goes to show you, those evo ix's don't really need a bigger turbo, just the right set up. very strong evo, congrats!!

also did you use 280/280 or /272/272 cams. most of the time you hear 280's get you high top speeds.

Now that you said the tire dimension i see from where you found the extra mph trap!

thanks everyone,

You are crossing in 4th gear at 121mph on a MR? what is your red line bro?

By the way, phenomenal times!!

Dude chill It was not my intentions to sound negative, did you actually read my post or did you stop at not perfect? Also when do I post negative sh*t??? Perhaps you have me and warrtalon mixed up (although I admit when it comes to the STI I am pretty negative).

Also I was just wondering why his E.T. didn't go down, his previous 11.5@117mph was with a 1.75 60ft and he had a 1.69 and 1.70 60fts for these runs, and I was just wondering why his E.T. didn't go down? Didn't know it was a f*cken crime to ask a question. Sh*t I was the first one to give props in this thread or did you miss that one too

9's have much shorter 4th gear.

I wasn't even aware that 121 mph was even able in 4th gear at 8000 rpms.

i used a calculator to see the max speeds at a 7800 rev limit and a 8000rpm rev limit in both stock dimensions and bigger dimension tires...

7800rpm limit
1. 235/45-17 = 118 mph
2. 245/45-17 - 120 mph

8000rpm limit
1. 235/45-17 = 121 mph
2. 245/45-17 = 123 mph

Definitely is doable on the IX
