First timer!
Here's some times for the evo 9, mods are TBE (with high flow cat) and a base flash
This is my first time racing the Evo and the first time at the track in almost 5 years!

I was really hoping for a 12 second pass, but i guess there's always next time. I ran it exactly like i run it on the street (93 octane, spare tire, everything in the car)
And for the 60' times, i have no idea what went wrong. I was launching off the 5500 2 step but the clutch was slipping. I know with a respectable launch i can get a 12 second pass. Any advice on getting it off the line better??

Not bad times for your first time out. What kind of exhaust? I would of expected your trap to be just a tad higher.
On your 60', this is just going to take some practice. I don't launch my car like the typical evo owners so my advise here probably wouldn't help. I don't even use my 2-step. Once both sets of yellows are showing (staged), I hold the RMPs to about 5000, hold the clutch to the floor. Once the yellows start coming down, I let the clutch out a little and then I let the clutch out pretty quick while flooring the gas on the last yellow. My average 60' is 1.74. I also have a twin-disk exedy.
Try this if you want but it's not the typical was of launching. It just works better for me.
