Got to run the 07 c6z51 mn6 with...

Well I finally got to go to the track with my new 2007 c6z51 mn6 corvette...it has 604 miles on it so far...I have the vararam snake charmer, vararam tb spacer and predator tuner (still has stock map but I changed the fan settings)...I started off the day in competition mode and continually trapped low 113s...I think turned off both and the car began to trap 114-115 with the occasional 113 if I tried to hotlap it...my best slip is listed below...I am pretty happy with this as a baseline...I will be going back friday with some cooler weather (today it was in the 70s) and some lower tire pressure and hopefully I can pull a 1.9-2.0 and get a 12.3 or lower out of her as I know its in her and if I have to I will tune it a bit...I have a 160 tstat, kooks 1 7/8 header and offroad xpipes sitting at the house but I haven't had time to install them yet...I also have a bottle of nitrous that may go in the car at some point...

I always seem to be saying a friend of mine, but anyway, a friend of mine was also having a very difficult time with traction in is 2007 vette running run flats. After a few 8.49 runs he lowered the tire pressure and was able to get 8.3 in the 1/8. I'm not sure of his mph. Did you sell your evo?

Keep up the good work.

Youll probably get .2 quicker and 1-2mph faster by getting rid of the runflats alone.

If and when I do get a Vette (I almost got C5 Z06), I would just put a nice pair of sticky drag radials out back that were very wide. I hate changing wheels.

the issue is there are no good drag radials for 19s...stock tires are 285/30/19

totally different cars...if you are only concerned about going fast buy a honda turbo a motor and run 10s, or buy a 5.0 and go 10s...speed isn't everything...

Your better off going with some 18's on the back. Try getting some used C-5 rims on Corvetteforums or E Bay.

BTW nice car. I almost when't with VY but got PITA Blk instead
