How did I do?

First time at the track with the Evo and AWD in general. I thought I would be able to get at least a 12.5 or better. Am I doing something wrong? I ran pretty consistent 110 mph traps. Shouldn't my car be trapping a little faster with the current mods? Still on the stock clutch and advans running 93oct. I know the reaction times suck but I was concentrating on launching for now. Let me know what you guys think, thanks! I'm number 407 by the way.

I'd say those are pretty good times & traps with your mods. Great job and pretty darn consistent. Get your 60' down to low 1.7s and you should get your 12.5!

Well, for your first time out with the Evo and AWD I would say that's not toooo bad. Your mph indicates you've got another .4 sitting on the table with better driving/shifting and a better 60'. As for reaction time.... who cares. It doesn't matter for your overall E.T. Unless you are bracket racing or something then it's a much bigger deal, as well as heads up racing, but in this instance it's not important. I noticed you have EvoScan, did you log any runs to check on knock counts etc....?

Whats your 2-step set at?

At what rpm do you change gears?

I am just reffering to 2 of my mistakes, which actually were rookie-first-time-at-the-track mistakes... Maybe you did the same...

Usually the gearchange points are 7000-7200rpm and the 2-step needs to be at least 5800rpm... with that 2-step i just got away with bogging of the line and managed a 1.72 which is my best so far...

My wife had the laptop with her, so I didn't get to log any of these runs I have logged a lot of street pulls though and everything looks good, no more than 3 counts of knock randomly.

Had the 2-step @ 5600. I didn't bog at all really and it didn't feel like it was spinning either? Had the tires at 32 psi and I just let off the clutch till I felt the car start moving, then released it almost instantly (didn't dump it) I was wondering how to get a better '60 time. Snow tires maybe, lol. I see a lot of you guys say your ripping 1.6's with snow tires!

I think thats damn good for your mods and first time with AWD. Congrats!!!

Not sure if your using a Jestr mail in flash or doing a custom tune. But as you already know a custom tune, 02 housing and LICP will get your car trapping a little higher. And with your driving will get you good et's.

Have you ever dynoed your car, if so what were the numbers?

You're holding 4th gear on the end, right?

That's about what i ran with the same setup. Only difference was i had a worst 60 ft. being 1.9 and my 2-step was at 5k.

Great job for your first time - no shame there.

As for faults and comments, here ya go:

- 60s aren't bad at all for a noob. You really only need to improve to low 1.7s instead of high 1.7s
- However, the shifting appears to be pretty slow. A high 1.7 or low 1.8 should show better ETs than this with 110+ traps
- Most IXs do make more power than that on those mods, but you just have an eflash, so it's not like you've been custom tuned in person
- Better/quicker shifting may result in higher traps, too
