Green Results! Thanks Buschur Racing!

Well, I had the Green installed about 2 weeks ago and I put down 387/366 on the famous Buschur mustang dyno. This was tuned on 93/alky at 29psi. I headed out to the track that following week but the car didn't run right. It was missing pretty bad. I knew it wasn't the tune and figured it was probably plugs so I ordered some new ones along with plug wires from BR. The plugs and wires came in two days later so I made the swap. Made a few pulls on the street and the car ran perfect! No misses at all. Finally, this afternoon I made it to the track for Import day at Edgewater Sports Park near Cincinnati, OH. I only made 2 runs and here are the results!

Run #1.
r/t------.088
60'-----1.761
330----4.886
1/8-----7.445
MPH----95.83
1000---9.627
1/4-----11.462
MPH----122.83

Run #2.
r/t------.339
60'-----1.720
330----4.865
1/8-----7.429
MPH----95.59
1000---9.623
1/4-----11.469
MPH----122.16

I can't tell you how impressed I am with this Green turbo. The car feels so strong and doesn't stop pulling. It's an amazing street turbo and one I'm going to stick with!

I'd like to give a big "Thanks" to David and Dan Buschur and their team. I started my modding journey 2 years ago from stage 1 through stage 4. As of today, I've never had anything break on the car with the exception of blowing an intercooler pipe off a couple of times! The parts the Buschur team offer along with their great install team are just amazing! I'm just thrilled to have finally hit my goal of 11.5! Now, I can put the baby seats back in and enjoy the ride for awhile. Thanks again Buschur Racing!

Mike, congrats on the great time. Looks like the few tips on concentrating to shift better from 1st to 2nd paid off. You were certainly shifting a lot better during the last run Friday night. You know your car right now the way it sits, has the potential for a very low 11 second quarter mile time, I am pretty sure that Dave Buschur can voucher for that. Hey man, mission accomplished, hahahaha!!!

I think I need to feel one more street pull on that beast, hahaha!!!

Enjoy the car Mike!!!

You've been through a lot of mods and a lot of turbos, so it's good to finally see you achieving your goal that you had from the beginning. 122mph traps are just nasty, and I would like to point out how 387 on the BR MD equated to 122+ mph traps for future reference. Those traps would be 440 or so on a Dynojet.

Thanks a lot guys for all the positive comments! It's really been a ride getting here. Also, thanks to Jose and Warrtalon! You both have given some great advice and it's finally paid off!

first and fore most NICE!

i dont know you as a driver and dont know how busy of an event this was as to figure in time for serious heat soak and cool down.
but bushur can use your car very much so as shut the fu(k up to these guys with those ebay interheaters! there is no way you would be able to be that consistent with out a proper cooling and obviously your driving too.

there are many more variables to take into account but the right parts is key.

dont know why the above stated popped into my head just thought i might emphasize a bit, the ebay thing actually made me real mad

I think I understand what your saying but not a 100% sure. I've always let the car cool down for at least 20 to 30 minutes before running again. It's just better for the car. This happens to be my daily driver so I don't want to beat it up. I've run the car many times during a test and tune and I will say, I always run pretty consistent times/traps. The parts and tuning I've received from Buschur are just flawless and perform beyond my expectations! I really feel I have a very reliable 11 second car! Thanks for the props!

nice times and mph. did you run this on a stock block and head? this could of been done on a ecu flash right? i see you have a aem. also what size injectors are you running? for for all the questions just want to see because i might go with the same set up.

I'm on the stock block & head. All stock internals but upgraded headstuds. Cams are HKS 272's.

I can't accuratly answer your question regarding the ecu flash, but I would guess that people have run my times or better with just an ecu flash. A lot would depend on the driver too. I would definatly recommend the AEM as the tuning IMO is far more superior then just getting a flash.

Injectors are 880's.

Hope this helps!
