new track time for me!

Okay I went to the track at us 41 with the chicagolandsrt club yesterday.. I happened to run a 12.2 at 114 mph with a 1.6 60ft. mods 3 inch turbo back and a 50 shot ,wet. I was very happy. comments please. try not to say something mean, it's not needed. I'm hoping to get e 85 tune a new clutch and go back to hit 11's.

Nothing to say about the run really - a 50 shot adds 80-90whp, so there's nothing to it. Let us know what you do off the juice.

When you get tuned on E-85, remember to add an mbc, fuel pump, and much bigger injectors so that you can actually utilize it. It's great stuff, but you don't have the required mods yet.

Yeah, he probably can't spray right off the line, so he doesn't get the benefit until later down the strip. You probably make the same power or more if you trapped 111 with a lot of sputtering.

Uh yeah, with 380whp, you'll be nailing easy 11s at 116-117 or so...

I am running basically the same mods as you and I ran US41 a few weeks ago and went 11.9s and my MPH was 118-119. What nitrous jet and fuel jet are you running? I was WAY rich (like under 10:1) and running 114 traps. I put a smaller fuel jet in and got it to 10.2:1 and it ran 119 the next pass....it was totally different. I also picked up 2-3 tenths spraying out of the hole.

Can you post the whole slip please? I feel like my 1/8th mile is suffering.

are you 2 steping and having your nitrous armed at the same time? or are you not flooring it and then once you start moving, then floor it? let me know

I'd like to bring this one back as I'm interested in the sauce as well.

What boost were you running on the juice? Was this on pump gas or race gas? What gear did you flip the switch in? Do you have head studs? .... this was on stock cams?!?

Your short time on a stock clutch is pretty darn good!

boost was at 19psi, I was activating it after I launched at 6500, no step so then when I floored it, n20 turned on. stock cams, stock everything else. That's why I want to know if I can have a 2 step running, can I have the nitrous activated at the same time since I will be flooring it.

you got a 7.3 in the 1/8th? you sure that wasn't a 7.8? 7.3 is like a mid 11-second run or so
