Warrtalon, I have the Buschur LICP, Forge UNOS and Walbro 255 here, I am just waiting on my pod and gauges before in install the MBC. And for the sub par driving comment, you are correct but some people have to drive their cars every day and can't afford a costly failure at the track just because they wanted to push it to the max. Im happy with the time and especially the trap speed because most people with many more mods are only trapping 3-5 mph more.

I drive my car daily and have done so for 2.5 years. Yes, I have had those failures like needing to change the clutch and one time having to repair the trans, but that's with over 300 full out drag launches, powershifting, road racing, and autocrossing. You just did 4 runs. If you had just gone all out on those 4 runs, then you'd be fine. It's not like you'll be going back 100 times like I did and continue to do.

No, people with _2_ more mods than you trap MUCH higher usually. People with many more mods don't usually just trap 3-5mph higher. I think you're looking at the wrong threads. Some people have hit your traps completely stock with no exhaust. They have also hits 12.8s and 12.9s completely stock. The good thing is that your IX isn't weak, but it isn't especially strong either. You can't really know if you didn't drive it optimally, though.

I know I didn't drive it optimally, the car was coming out of the hole falling on it's face and I wasn't shifting past 6.5.. I know with harder driving the car would trap 108 or maybe even more. Im pretty sure I could also get the car down to 12.7 or so.. Im not new to these cars at all, my previous car a 91 tsi awd with just a K&N, MBC@16 psi and exhaust removed at the down pipe and over 165k on the clock with the original stock 14b I managed a 13.4@99 with a 1.78 '60. I know how to drive the car, I just didnt care to go ***** to the walls.

Edit: Just incase there are nay-sayers. http://home.dejazzd.com/mutzzy/Media....4%20(low).wmv

You should be around 13.5 ish @ 101-3 with a stock Evo 8.. a TBE is a Full turbo back exhaust, and a MBC is a manual boost controller.

No, not a Lancer SE - it's an Evo IX SE. It's an Evo just likes yours...just better.

Any Evo hitting 14s and trapping 95 is downright awful.
