Result after tune(1/8 mile)

Couple weeks ago i ran without tune(stock map) and walbro 255 fp(im also bogging down coz of my 2 step was 5k rpm)

8.4sec
2.0 60ft
@22psi

Last night i ran
8.6sec
1.80 60ft
79mph
@22psi

This is after tune and Walbro 255 fp(i didnt bog down this time coz my 2 step is 5400rpm)I was building 11psi at staging. also i got knock sum 34 when staging only!

I thought i should be running faster coz of my 60ft is faster and i have a tuned.
Should i put back my stock map???

You should take the car to an expert and have them check it over from head to toe. The tune should have given you great gains, and with a much better 60', you should been running high 7s. Maybe the weather was worse, but to improve the 60' and lose .2s in the 1/8th is a bad sign.

How long were you on the two step at the staging lights?

It probably wasn't the problem, but you should try to limit the time on the 2-step. 5 seconds is a long time and not good for the car. At least you didn't say 15 seconds like some other crazy guy did once before...

All seasons are usually better than the Advans for launching, because they have softer sidewalls.

Yes, but you are ignoring the problem and trying to mask it with more mods.

Like warr said, there is serious loss of top end power what was the MPH difference between the two runs? with a .2 better 60' you should of gained quite a bit.

Things like boost leaks and clutch slipping (but you had a fine 60' so that might not be it) are common for problems like this.
