Been a while, but back with my best times ever...

Had a great night at the track today. Finally turned some good times. I was just road tuned a few weeks ago by Jestr and the one glitch we had was that my EBC was maxed at 26 psi. So after the tune I went to the track and ran horrible, I got 2 runs in and gave up. They were 13.77@107.4 and 13.57@107.6. There was something wrong with the EBC because 1st, 2nd and 3rd all felt like the gain was too high and it was 2 clicks from off. So after talking with Mannie (04AWDTURBOEVO) he said I should try putting a restrictor in the pressure side of the EBC line. He also sold me his Forge WGA. So after getting the WGA on and getting 26 psi at now around ½ on the High Boost knob, I worked on the restrictor. I got it in and right away I gained 3 psi with no other changes. Did a run from 2nd to 4th and bam, smooth as hell.

So now that my car is running tip-top, its time to redeem my horrible times. So my first run I hit a 12.45@114.51!! This was with a boost spike of 25.4 psi (not sure which gear or the taper, got that from the Zeitronix memory).

Second run, clicked the boost up 2 times. Got a good launch, ran 12.08@114.37!!! Boost spike that time was 26.1 psi. Best run of the night and best E/T and trap ever by my car. Just awesome.

Third run, eh. I clicked the boost up 2 more times, and tried adjusting the clutch a bit to get it to grab a bit lower. I tried a little different way of launching and bogged it, ran a 12.37@115.50. This was spike of 27.1. That’s when I called it a night. I was satisfied with what I had already ran.

Big thanks to John of course and a big thanks to Mannie for helping me get my EBC working correctly.

The slips:

Get that launch down and ull be in the 11's in no time.

Log the Car and turn the boost up and see where the car runs optimal.

You really need to work on the launch. 11's are right around the corner.

I know my launch could improve, but after that night, that was literally the 7th time I launched with that clutch. I'm just really trying to be careful and not break anything.

I'll get it, going to the track again on Friday, if it doesn't rain.
