Hey just wondering what guys with similar mods have ran there IX. I have tbe,mbc (23psi),licp, and intake. no tune yet but what would you guys think my car is capable of with and without out a tune with these mods.

Consider with a good driver.

Thanks.

No tune, never dragged the Evo before - stock times (if you're lucky).

Get a tune, go to a track, run car -- then post.

Please search - there are tons of threads to help you answer that question. Bench racing is really lame - just go to the track and see what you do. Main thing for you to know is that it makes no sense to have those mods without a tune on a IX. The tune is the most valuable, most powerful, and most important mod of all.

I have all the mods but only have my TBE and drop-in filter installed. I'm on stock clutch and don't realy want to go to the track and not be able to drive back home because of burned clutch. I 'm going to install all the parts then get the tune and clutch when I get more money. I just want to know where my car is at as of now.

So then you dont have a MBC, LICP, or intake -- they do not count when they are not ON the car. You have TBE+Drop in -- then its basically stock, thus stock like times.

Read how to launch and drive at the 1/4. You have to really suck at it to kill the clutch in 1-3 passes. And its a poor excuse not to try it.

It doesn't matter what someone guesses for your car's time with mods that aren't installed and that you will never race on without a tune. That's just a waste of a thread and our time.

I'm going to install the rest of my parts this week and get a tune later on. I want to know where I'm going to be with the mods I have.

Like I said in my first post I want to know what people with similar mods ran at the track. Just to get a ball park of where my car is at.

Totally agree.

And beemerfreak, like we just said many times. You wont be doing much better than stock (and prby worse then stock times).

Like I said - read all the drag racing posts and tech., go to the track, put down some runs. Learn the car! Learn to drive it fast.

oOo someones getting spikey.

Look, Warr and I have both put down hundreds of passes in our cars. We tend to know a little about drag racing. I also gave you the link to the reg. of track times - look through it (and it has a filter) find a IX with those mods and be happy that someone out there ran that time, at that track, on that day, with their mods, on their car.
