Good stuff! Congrats!

So at this level of modification, how is the car as a normal driver? Is it getting difficult to deal with on normal roads?

SC~

Very nice! You are fast approaching your STI times! What is amazing is the list of parts that remain stock. Congratulations!

damn! that is crazy fast for a car that's been in the US for what, 5 months?!?!

Couple of questions for you Al:
What are you thinking for a turbo upgrade?
and how hard are you taxing your injectors with the setup you have now?
and do you plan on moving to a stand-alone or piggyback system (like the AMS, Apexi PFS, XEDE) when they become more readily available?

Al, I had a friend there at the track, congrats on the time....but he did mention that you didnt have any interior and you were running race gas (C16) ...is that true? if thats the case, I think thats important to mention that!

Hi,

Of course he is running race gas. Al is building a race car he drives to the race track and race gas is the correct choice. High 11's on pump gas would be stupid with a stock turbo.

And he removed the seats? Do you ever go to the track? When the cars are in the staging area, the pit area looks like a garage sale for seats and tools and tires!

oh yes, I have been to the track but I also know that a lot of people run their cars with full street weight just to see what their street setup is...I thought Al was building a very fast street car, wasnt aware that he was trying to build a race car. Eitherway, nice numbers.

I thought the E-Manage only did fuel stuff and wasn't a true ecu replacement??

I probably have to do some research here

I know. After observing Al's short EVO racing career, I have concluded that he is nuts! He has a need for speed and will do what ever it takes. The first EVO to break 11 without NOS has yet to be seen, but I would put money on Al again at the DSM shootout in July!

Amazingly - in every respect the driveability - feel and response is better than stock! The mods I did - they didn't hurt anything - only negative thing is a very slightly lumpy idel from the cams - otherwise it performs as stock until you hit the boost

I have the tien FLEX - the car handles much better than stock the ride on the soft settings is not bad
