so are u still going to get another stock disc?.. or are you doing something really radical?

i'm seriously thinking about that RMR 6 puck disc for 199.. i just can't launch well with this clutch..

I very worried about any puck style clutches - I rather change clutches than deal with broken gears

Congrats on that 11 second run. It must feel like the Star Ship Enterprise going to warp speed. How many launches did you make on the stock clutch since you got the car?

Al,

Good runs. But, can you please respond to the numerous posts about running w/o spraying. I would assume that the majority of us on this board would not spray. We would like to have some "realistic" info. Thanx in advance.

I never ran my current set up without spray - - I am taking off the stock turbo for a GT30 set up this comming week so we will never know what it would have done - I prefer not to speculate - but with 331 wheel hp it should have been fast !

If you want to know how fast i can go without spray - then wait for the DSM shootout on the 20th of July - I plan to make a strong showing there

well.. to answer the non-nos evo8 ET question.. AMS went 12.00@113 on a badly slipping clutch a few weeks ago.. so an 11 second run should be in there with a good clutch without nos!

that's with the following mods: Apexi SAFC - AMS MBC - AMS turboback - HKS 272/272 cams - AMS intake tube with cone filter - and a lightened battery - and of course all dyno-tuned for maximum power (354whp)

Damn, Al does all this work and shares all of it with everyone and all everyone does is ***** about the nitrous oxide.
If I remember from previous posts, it's only a 50 shot and he's only using it to get out of the hole. But regardless, get off the guys back!

Congrats again Al. My friend used to get yelled at all the time at Atco. After one run in the 11s they would let him run if he shut down and stayed out of the 11s. At least he could get 60ft times and 1/8 times out of it.

Al, AMS sells a triple disk. I hear its nice on the tranny and allows for some slipage, but grabs really well without burning out the disk. Call them up.

Al - Thanks for the info. I was not "riding" your back as timzcat put it, but just being average. I am interested in what the car can do without NOS. I understand that your mission at hand was to break into the 11s with any means neccesary.

timzcat - Forums etiquette involves sharing information. We were only looking for information. Its good to see that you have Al's back though.

I will call them today - - have you heard any word on how the exedy / cucso twin disk drives - Buscher seems to say that one is very good?????? I would hate to put another stock one in there only to melt it in one race !
