I went to no problem race way In donaldsonville. I just had my cams installed about a month ago. so i figured i would go give the track a shot. This was my first time at a track running my car. I did not get a chance to do a boost leak check. But i was hitting 21psi. The car felt normal nothing different than normal. Just wondering if im that bad of a driver or is it other problems. I am going to run a boost check this weekend when i have some free time. I was thinking it was b/c i am not tuned. So i am getting tuned on the 28th of this month. My friend said i might be that bad of a driver. But also as i made two more passes the time got worse and my trap speed was way down from other cars with my mods. Just would like your thoughts. ur running with out a tune with those mods?? thats most likely the problem!

 

Get tuned! That's your problem. Seems like your shifting is pretty slow too especially from 1st to 2nd. Also, get your 60' down. 2.0 is no good. With a tune and some practice, you should start seeing some better times/traps.

 

Yea i know my 1st to 2nd is slow. I keep getting locked out of it for some reason. But there is no grinding so its not the syncros.

 

those 60fts are from a fwd geo metro!! Not an evo!! Should be at worse a 1.8xx

yes, your driving is that bad, but the car is very slow, too. If you have those mods without a tune, then that is completely asinine and pointless. If that K&N in your sig is the Typhoon, then your car is just a mess, but if it's a drop-in filter, then that's fine (list it that way, though).

What is Exede? Is that Xede or Exedy? I don't think it's a Xede, becase you're not tuned, and I don't think it's Exedy, because you have an ACT 6-puck. So, what is an "Exede"?

Your power is equivalent to a stock 05 btw.

I can not launch no higher than 5000. I am tuned by the xede but i was talking about as for as going to a tuning day and let someone tune it. Sorry for the confusion.
