My '06 Evo IX Project Car
My '06 Evo IX Project Car
I have an '06 Evo IX MR as my project car for this year. I had an '04 before but lost it due to some bad crap. My goal is to run an 11.99 in it this year at 4200 ft. of elevation so we will see what happens.
Right now, from the information I have, my first time at the track and less than a week with the car I have run the fastest stock time in Colorado since the Evos have been out:
13.985 @ 98.37
I know, I know, it sounds slow and it is slow, but ~90% of the Evo owners out here can't drive them. I am going for a 13.5 - 13.7 stock without modifying/removing anything but the tires.
I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Read the info in the first post.
With practice I should be able to run 13.5 - 13.7 in the same form.
Elevation robs about ~.4 - . 6 seconds

Granted Colorado yes but I am pretty sure your not the fastest stock. No offense but come on man look at you sig- don't break your arm patting yourself on the back when your not so sure

I agree with you. I only had a 2.0s 60', so I know there's plenty of room for improvement.
As you can see though, noone from Colorado could post right away that my time wasn't the fastest though because there are a lot of slow Evo drivers out here.

Well honestly maybe slow at the track... Hell I have a 500whp (race gas) Evo IX and I have NEVER been to the track.... Probably because I work to much and always miss track days but still I am sure there are plenty of Evo's out here that can cut faster then a 2.0 60ft... I know that for a fact.
