Ok, let's the beating begin!!
Well, I staged the line, pulled on my e-brake, staged the second set of yellow, dropped the e-brake, clutch in, half way in on the gas, and tried to slipped the clutch. May be next time I need to floor the gas and build some boost and work a little bit more on the clutch.
Don't Ebrake at all, hold your gas pedal to the floor, literally floor it ( I had the same issue when I first got the EVO I didn't completely floor it off the limiter), so I unhooked it and BAM 1.6 60's. But you need to slip the clutch out and keep the gas pedal down. You will know when you do it right by hearing a little tire squeal (and I mean a little).
JK. But honestly if you want a good launch just bang that ***** of the revlimit <--- (Its there for a reason
) and feather that baby until you smell a bit of clutch and hear your tires chirp ever so slightly.
Youll get it, eventually.
