Me and a few other people are going to the Byron Dragstrip in Byron Illinois on September 15. If anyone is interested in going just let me know. (Don't know if this is the right place to post this haven't done it before)

dude, I was thinking on going there but on the 17th i think.

Well.. the last time i went i was in the low 18's and the only thing i have done to my car since then is a K&N drop in and the added spoiler..

Yeah...actually, the wing increases downforce, which slows you down on the drag strip. It makes your Lancer even slower, and you likely aren't going speeds that utilize the wing for handling purposes (road racing) unfortunately.

 

lol i never bought the wing for the thought that my car would be faster. I bought it simply cause the ES without the wing was boring and plain. So to spice things up i put a wing on it.

 

Believe me, it's still heinous. The Lancer ES is one of the worst cars imaginable.

 

its not that bad. looks a whole lot better with the wing. but i could think of a ton of cars that are way uglier.
my first car was way uglier than a lancer. **** my second car was too.
some people dont have gobs of money to drop on a pretty car like a GG MR. some people just deal the hand that they can get.
