From all our testing and trial and experience we figured that your car would have to be around 2500lbs with driver. Power shift and 1100whp.
We have been cutting allot of weight out each day and almost done. Ive got the 1.28 divided housing coming from precision right now im running the 1.02 housing. Greg at GSC sent me the S2 cams which have more lift. I'm still running the Magnus intake which might hurt me but we will see this Saturday on the dyno
We are about 2700lbs right now i would guess. They say every 100lbs =1/10
If any of you guys have some good input please feel free to chime in

Wow, this question is going to be able to be answered by a total of about 3 people
. Good luck on your quest but I dont think the hp total would have to be that high. I believe Buschur and AMS are just under 1000whp and running 160+mph. Not sure of their weights though.

Ive had the privilege of talking to some very awesome and knowledgeable people here on evom. TedB who has guided me in the right direction with cams. Martin with AMS hands down has helped us and saved us a butt load of $$$
Shep on specs on tranny builds. Marco with Magnus has given us some really good advise on our build on piston to wall clearance. Greg with gsc on cams. Man the list goes on and on
I feel very lucky and would not have gotten this far without Evom. Never hurts to throw the questions out ya can get some nasty feedback but hey its free

Paul already knows what I am thinking on the subject but I think its time for some suspension work to help out as well. Sorry I missed your call BTW, I was at work but I did call Lucas as soon as I was off work. Coilovers are going to drop weight at the same time as well.

Ill give ya a call this weekend

You got my attention when you said drop weight lol
Man your doing some awesome testing bro. I cant wait to see if the AMS manifold out performs the Magnus. and by how much. and also how well the s2's do. Keep us posted and don't dynotest them both at the same time.. put the cams in one pull and the IM on another.!!! please!
some ideas which i dont know if you have implemented them yet:
- lexan windows
- more carbon fiber (roof, doors)
- sandblasted chassis to remove tar, insulation etc (big weight savings)
- i would try a very low front spoiler to block air going under the car (all the high speed runs i have seen/read about they use very low cars with the front spoilers almost touching the road)
More extreme:
- Since the car is drag only i would remove the intercooler and install/build and chargecooler and i would modify the fron bumper to make it more aerodynamic. Like cover the intercooler vent and make the nose sharper...
i have some pictures with this modification on subarus, ford cosworths and lancia integralles that drag race in Europe. most of them use chargecoolers and closed-up bumpers for better aerodynamics. will post them tonight when i go home...
