Good 3's on that dyno, but the car only made 717 whp on the BR dyno without the N2O? I don't see over a 200 whp increase even from 100 shot. Unless you guys upped the boost.

This is probably the one of the most ignorant statement ever. Nitrous WORKS People say bottles are for baby's- are they retarded? They also say that nitrous is cheating... not really, they sell it to everyone. If you used the stuff before you would probably retract that statement. So how about realizing that CFT made almost 1000 HP to the wheels, what kind of power do you make?

It's just the dyno difference. Al dynoed at what 815whp or 835whp I forgot and went to and dynoed at ICS and hit 968whp just with the differences in the dyno.

Looks to be the same here 717whp on Buschur add a 100 shot and 958whp is what they got.

 

Thats what I was getting at. That not all mustangs read the same and don't forget they may has been running their N2O tune on Daves dyno, so the timing would been lower than for an all boost car.

 

ICS has a dynojet which naturally reads higher than a Mustang dyno, so that's a no brainer that Al would dyno quite a bit more at ICS

CFT dynoed back to back on two mustang dyno's, so there's either some strange "corrections" going on between the two dyno's, or they did something to the car in between. In the video in shows they dynoed something like 83Xwhp without the nitrous, more than 120whp more than at Buschur's.

Regardless, the car is put together very well, and I'm sure we'll be seeing some 8 second passes from it shortly.

Power is power. Whether it is made with a V8, V6, 4 banger, turbo, blower, nitrous ETC whatever. Nitrous slamming is a very narrow minded approach. It is more a general ignorance as to how it works which is why people in the import crowd slam it because it isn't widely used.

For example, you don't see anyone saying VP imoprt is cheating. Why not? It's oxygenated fuel that clearly will make more power than C-16. Reason it isn't knocked is because people are just more familiar with it. Why isn't meth cheating? Why isn't running 45PSI instead of 40 PSI cheating?

I say "run what you brung" or STFU. So if someone built a straight meth EVO like Shepherd's Talon, that went out and ran 7s, would we not acknowledge it as the fastest because it doesn't run on gas?
