I have done a lots of 1.7s but 1.8s are not bad at all. Some excellent drivers also cut 1.6's.

I did a best 1.70 with my stock clutch and similar mods, but most of my runs were in the 1.8's. (I've only run my Evo once, but I was able to get 13 runs on the same day)

What was your ET?

once you get the hang of the stock clutch 1.7s should be the norm w/o much abuse. a few excellent drivers have dipped into the 1.6x range. My personal best on the stock clutch was 1.71

In April I cut a 1.68 and a 1.64 with stock clutch with stainless steel line and no restrictor pill. August, 1.78 was the best and slips like a mother now .
