Pinks All Out - Vegas
went to Pinks All Out in Vegas this past weekend, wow there were a lot of cars. I believe total 350 cars entered... but I only seen about 4 imports. Lots of fast cars, jet cars, dragsters, altered, jr. dragsters etc. It was about 105 degrees out too! I entered my Evo 9 since I have the itch to race, been way too long since I have ran my car. Thanks to Doug for re-flashing my Evo 9, made some good power on his Mustang Dyno here in Henderson NV.

I did ok... the first test run I did ran 11.6 at 116, I bogged the launch bad. The 2nd run they don't show your time or give you a slip. The second run was a good run, that run is in the video. They were picking 10.9 cars

Pinks All Out is a bit different from Pinks, basically there are about 300+ cars that come to qualify, you get 2 test runs. The Pinks crew picks 16 cars out of the bunch, that have the most similar times. For the most part it looks like the majority of cars are 10.9 second cars. Each round you win $1,000 and on the final's you win $10,000, so no one looses their car and no one can sand bag, you have to go All Out to win it, but also have to be lucky enough to get picked.
can you tell i only watched pinks...??
and who's bright marketing idea was it to name it "pinks:all out".. which sounds more intense than "pinks" for a race that isn't as intense...?
just my two cents.. (and trying to save face...) lol

well I think Pinks All Out is a good idea, gets more of the actual racers out there instead of the street racers on Pinks. With Pinks All Out you don't have to worry about loosing your car, focuses more on driver skill and pretty much eliminates cheating. Now on Pinks, you pretty much have to sand bag, cheat or be a real good negotiator (bs'er) in order to have a chance. I personally wouldn't go to Pink's or even think about it, but Pinks All Out, yeah I would love a crack at 10k and running an Import vs some v8 muscle cars.
