what size slicks can fit on.....

Hey guys,

I wanted to see what size slicks people are running so far. I talking with a friend of mine, and he wanted to know if he can fit the 275 BFG slicks on the factory wheels. I know that the 275s will fit a 17x8 wheel, and with coilovers and I think a 20mm spacer, it would physically fit (I think), but I'm not 100% sure. If anyone has any insight on this, please let me know...

We could only squeeze 225/45/17 on there with the stock rims. I know on a 16" rim you can do a motorcycle slick or Hoosier QTP DOT. MT Drag Slicks 15" tires like i run seem to be the best bet for a true slick. Come in 24.5x8x15 or 26x8x15

Jerry,

Just for your info, I just spent(less than one hour ago) $788 on a set of 2 BF Goodrich T/A II 275/40/17 with 2 17x8.5" Kosei rims for my BMW. My point is that the regular BF Goodrich T/A 275/40/17 are no longer available, you can get the T/A II though.

If you need more clarifications contact disccounttires, that is where I got them from. The BF Goodrich T/A II are uglier but apparently better than the T/A.

I truly hope this helps.

Carlos
