Finally got back to the track...12.1

I finally got back to the track after school started back. I was a little disappointed to say the least. I was hoping to run atleast 11's but the one run that would have possibly been low enough the tracks timing system messed up or something and i only got my 8th mile time.

Mods-

3 TBE
Cone filter
Hallman MBC
GSC S1's
Walbro
Tune

1st Run

R/T.... .633
60'..... 1.762
330.... 5.044
1/8th.. 7.780
MPH.... 89.64
1000... 10.145
1/4...... 12.152
MPH.... 111.96

2nd Run

R/T.... .584
60'..... 1.741
330.... 5.031
1/8th.. 7.762
MPH.... 89.85
1000... 10.118
1/4...... 12.122
MPH.... 112.30

3rd Run( the run that could have possibly been in the 11's or a low low 12)

R/T.... .526
60'..... 1.738
330.... 4.978
1/8th.. 7.692
MPH.... 90.49
1000... ------
1/4...... ------
MPH.... ------

After looking around at some of the other cars that are running the same mods as me i feel kinda slow. I mean i know the track i was at is considered a "slow track" and i was blowing the tires up through first but i was still expecting better. Oh well it was fun . If anyone could see any thing i could have possibly done better let me know.

not bad runs but your mph are a little slow and your 1-2 shifting can be a little faster, if you look at your 3rd run that 4.9 was likely what made that pass a potential 11 sec run with a 114ish...

I think my reasoning for such slow shifting was trying to drive the car. I felt like i was back in my camaro trying to pedal the thing through the first 330. The car was all over the place. Ive cut better sixty foot times before so thats another area for imporvement i geuss. The track had NO prep at all and it was cold. Few cars crossed the center line at the 1000 mark from loosing traction.

The specifc mods are

walbro 255
Gsc s1 cams
ebay fmic
Injen cone filter
Halman pro rx mbc
Topspeed Tune
exey twin hd(stock clutch line with restrictor pill)

The car made 355whp and 358 wtq in not so favorable conditions to say the least so needless to say i was hoping fo rhigher speeds. Oh well i geuss its true track times dont like like dynos do.

What were your shift points?

And for other people with stock turbo in low 12s or high 11s, where are your shift points ?

kumho 245-45-17s and i shifted into 5th. I shifted at around 7500. I was worried about the procharged camaro passing me honestly so im sure i didnt shift at the exact points.

I shift past redline in 1st. All other gears I do at redline and ride 4th out.

btw: you were still pulling a desent 1.7 towards the end, so I don't think you were breaking loose that bad. IMO

I don't think your ET is bad at all for the MPH, so that shows you are a good driver. The MPH seems a little low for the mods though, like you said.

how much boost are you running? my guess is that you could turn it up a bit.
