Okay so let me get this straight. Someone makes a post talking about how they put race gas in their car with very little mods and no way to take advantage of it and they get raped for "wasting their money" yada yada. Then someone puts it in just to be safe (i was worried something would happen to my car like a fellow members on here that went to the track with me) and i get raped for claiming its pump gas. Okay your right i had what like 95-97 octane. WOW go put straight 116 in your car and touch nothing and see if it gives you any faster times. I shouldnt have even told that i mixed it just to be safe.

This place kills me.

There signatures edited for the haters, oh and by the way congrats to mellon for running the times he did on street tires. I Dont think i could have gotten lower than a high 1.6 becuase the track was so cold and the track crews suck at preping it.

the evogreen gave me 35awhp over the stock turbo...not impressed, the meth kit goes in asap so I can see what this turbo can really do.

p.s. the new signature is misleading:

11.93 @ 113 on pump/stock turbo

it should say:

11.93 @ 113 on pump+110 mix/stock turbo

to be more accurate
There never was any knock, im **** about logging my car atleast every two days just to make sure. It was the EXACT SAME THING I DROVE OFF THE DYNO.

Put it into 5th. My car makes NO power about 7200. I mean im sure the times would still be next to the same but it feels better to me to hit the lights under power than the rev limiter

The s1's where nice. I have no before or after dyno(wish i did) but the car in the mid range pulls hard. Doug down at Topspeed in atl did the tune really conservatively and couldnt spend much time on the car with it being a big dyno day. He had never played with a set of s1s in a 9 before and was trying all kinds of things. He said the could with more time could have picked up anywhere from 10 to 20whp.

If you put in 116 on a pump gas tune, if anything you'd lose power.

Good run. I have basically the same mods but ran only 12.4 @ 113. I finished in 4th but I'll try what you did by shifting to 5th.

this thread motivated me, I tweaked the tune, new time:

on the first and only run:
1.66
11.78
116.10 mph

it had a little timing pulled at 6500 so I might add some fuel there next time but I was happy and drove right back home haha. This was on the g-tech so maybe I'll confirm it on the track to make it official but that's the fastest time I've ever seen on my g-tech and I compared it to the track the other night... it's dead on e.t. and mph down to the hundredth so it's good enough for me really.

Apparently, I blew up my tranny and t-case before I could get a better time.
On the laptop software evoscan I make what's on my sig. I lowered tire pressure from the stock advans to 26 on front and 25 back because I had too much wheelspin on 1st runs (I was kind of dropping the clutch on my exedy twin disc). On a slightly slower run that night I had:
I- 1.86
II- 5.26
III- 8.09 @ 85.729
1/4- 12.555 @ 112.905
On my fastest time I got off a 1.76 60'ft but none better. It must be my launch because I shifted ok. What do you think?

I would get 1.6's with snow tires, must be your launch.
