New best time..need advice

Please take a look at the slip and let me know where I could gain a tenth or two.

R/T. .561
60' 1.707
330 4.914
1/8 7.608
MPH 91.52
1000 9.908
1.4 11.872
MPH 113.66

Mods are MBC Tune, 3" TBE, Alchy injection, and WGA (which could be set up a little better). I pushed 4th all the way through the trap and I bounced of the rev limiter as I passed through. Will shifting gear to 5th really slow me down or allow me to pick up a MPH or two?

Raise your rev limiter to 8100rpm.

you'd probably trap 116-117 if you had a 5-speed. Really nothing you can do at this stage except ride out 4th and bang that limiter. What is your rev limit set to? You can easily do 8000 rpms for an extra MPH or 2

Get rid of that evo IX 4th gear and replace it with a evo 8 4th gear and you'll trap alot higher!

You sure you're rev limiter is set to 8k? You would not be trapping 113.xx while bouncing off the limiter at 8k. You would be at 116-117, which is the proper speed for the time you ran. How many runs did you get, and what were your other trap speeds?

I can double check the rev. limiter. I was messing with my tune a bit that night and I used an old map to retune my car. Maybe I didn't have it set where I usually do. I had 3 passes due to the track being crowded. First one was 12.2 at 112, second was 12.0 at 111 and the last was 11.87 at 113. Someone mentioned clutch slipping, and that reminded me that on my launch, the car seemed to lunge forward for a sec., then settle in and pull like a freight train. Maybe my clutch was slipping on the launch then? If so, could this cause me to lose 3 mph? I thought nothing of it at first because my 60ft. was still 1.7. If I had the slips in front of me I would write them out fully. The Sunday night when I ran was calm but 40-50 degrees if that helps at all.

Another thing to note, due to my wga not being fully set up, I taper from 28ish - 20 by redline. Maybe Im loosing a little power there?

I checked the rev. limiter and it is set just past 7900ish rpm. Also after talking it over with a friend of mine and sharing my map, he thinks the reason my trap speed wasn't up there was the tune I was running. I am going to retune over the next month or two and hit the track again when it reopens. Then perhaps I can report back here with a 11.6 or so.
