Angry Low 1/4 Mile Time

I was at Route 66 Joliet Raceway some time last week...I ran some very low 1/4 mile times with my MODDED Evo. I have an intake, turbo-back exhaust (test pipe), and a BOV. My reaction time was a .514, 60' was 1.8, ET was 13.6, and MPH was 101. I must have a weak car or some bad driving skills. I never ran the car stock so I have no numbers to compare with. Although it was my first time at a track, is it me or my car?

its really impossible to tell

the only way that you could tell would be to put it on a dyno

Mods I've listed are the only things I've got...no boost controller. The turbo back is a Buschur 3" all the way through....

Stock Evos are running high 13s out here in Cali at best.13.6 is alright for first time.Your mods are only going to maybe give you a 2/10 sec in the qtr mile.Your car is barely modded and with A/F timing etc management your car will be able to really kick ***.Went to track and best time i saw out of two different STIs was 13.8. Two evos ran this week at Cali speedway and the stock one did a low 14 at best. Modded one with more upgrades than yours ran 13.5 on one run with others being 13.8 and low 14s.guy said he had leak in Boost gauge hose was reason for his poor performance.

Sounds about right. You need a safc to get the most out of those mods. Well, maybe you should have trapped a little higher though.

I ran under 13.5 100% stock with a hot car and a full tank of gas..... but the weather was fairly pleasant.... and I had 94 Sunoco gas.......

I thought there were problems with keeping boost up with aftermarket exhaust.??? boost controller could fix that though.

If it is one of the weaker cars it's probably because he's running below 19psi as advertised and is just a mbc away from catching up with the rest.

What RPMS are you all shifting at starting from 1 -2. I was the third Evo at California speedway. I ran consistent 2.0 60' times, but my best time was 14.7. I was shifting at redline in each gear. My car is stock with a RMR intake(maybe that's my problem).
