Your time and your trap speed is amazing. especially looking at your 60ft time. Are you the original owner of the car?

Amazing time

No this is not my run. This guy on a local forum is claiming this. I told him that he couldn't of ran that stock and he is claiming he did. I just wanted other people's opinions about this. Especially Warralton's opinion.

yea that is a fast trap speed for it with that 60ft being that way.. i had a 13.0 with a 60ft at 1.8 and my trap was only 102 sounds like that guys car probly had some thing done to it for it to make up for that 60ft time

^^^Exactly what I told him, but he says that it's true and tells me I don't know anything. Then he goes on to say that he has an mr and that it is faster that an evo 9. He has an evo 9 mr.

The MR is heavier than the GSR and doesn't make more power, so it's not faster - it's actually a little slower. A 107mph trap speed in stock form is hard to believe, but it's possible. Also, a 13.1 is what you would expect with that trap speed and the horrible driving.

My stock 05 MR (slower than 06 MRs) went 13.1 @ 104 with a crappy 1.9 60'. His 60' and shifting were worse, which is why our times were the same despite his trap being 3mph higher.

Electricevo, there is NOTHING amazing about that time. That trap should be a 12.6 or so. 13.1s have been commonplace since 05s came, so a IX doing a 13.1 with a 107mph trap speed is the opposite of amazing - it's very poor driving.

Where are you guys getting a trap speed of 105-106 is in the mid 12s. This is just unrealistic. Period. 110mph is mid 12s (ON AVERAGE).. 105-106 is at best high 12s.

Look at my sig for what 110 traps can get you. I also have run a best of 12.30 @ 107.99 up here in Denver. With one mod (SAFC), I ran 12.8 @ 106, then later ran 12.63 @ 106.5 with a cat-back. The 12.8 was so-so driving, and the 12.6 was much better driving. This guy trapped 107, so you do the math...

I ran a 12.0 at 113 once, As far as 13.195 @ 106.91 with a crappy 60 ft time your going to have a higher top end speed due, problem is stock never means stock on the internet. He will post I forgot he had a mbc running race fuel. What ever the case 107 is very very strong for stock evo 8 or 9. I recall posts of stock 8's running 12's some deep in the 12's. Out West we don't have the wind in our back on a fast track but there are some tracks out east that just seem to be fast.
