Stock Turbo 11.6@123mph full weight SSL

Well we just got my car up and running yesterday.

Was hopping for a tad faster for all the new mods done but with only 120mi on the new motor and a few more small mods I am happy so far.

I still dont have a cage so I have to really wait for the right condition to go for it. So far now I am just working on getting my MPH up. Once I get 125mph out of the stock turbo I will try for my 10.9 pass.

I hate listing all my mods because it seems embarrassing for what I have done so far but here you go.

I am hoping getting a MAFT PRO in and ditching the factory air meter will get the HP I am looking for.

Driving the same way last year I was averaging 119-120mph.

-'04 SSL EVO full weight
-IX Stock trubo
-GSC S2 with Kiggly beehive valve springs
-ETS IC and piping with ETS intake pipe
-FIC 1000s's
-Forge BOV
-255hp
-Cust cold air intake with airmeter in fender.
-E90 fuel
-spike 28psi hold 24psi to redline.
-Flash tuning done buy me.
-FP upgraded WG actuater
-O2 housing
-BS remove
-10:1 alum rod motor
-Electric water pump
-light head port work
-ported intake with stock TB
-BR 3in TBE
-Exedy SR tripple
-EnglishRacing built tranny with a IX taller 1st

123mph traps with a 89mph 1/8th?

Holy top end.

That is the same 1/8th mph I get with my craptastic 115mph traps. lol

I am really shifting the 1/2 slow to keep the ET down. My track is on to me so one 11.4999 and I am done.

nice run! interesting choice in compression...that 28-24psi is effectively much much higher.

what will it do on pump gas?

7.4 in the 1/8 at 89 is far from shifting slow, come on.

something is up if you're picking up over 25mph on the big end...it signals to me that the 1/8th should be better.

Nice run, MPH looks great. Maybe you can sneak a sub 11.49 warning pass in before they give you the 'You're outa here' thumb.

Here is what my 11.2 looked like from last year. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=277745

I was shifting slow but like the rest of you having the 1/8 off buy 10mph from last year seems a little strange. Will be at another track in a few weeks so we will see what I can do there. The *** dyno says the car is feeling great.

Mellon the Car is built for E85 only. I have done one other 10:1 motor and I did have a gas flash for it. It did tune out fine but I only ran 16psi and the timing was a good 3deg lower then most evos at 20psi.

I love it, you are my E85 inspiration It's just not available enough for me to build a motor specifically for it though
