4MPH with just tires!!!
u trapped so low cause you were knocking in 4th.... your car is very fast 1-3 though =-)
With the taller tires i stayed in my power band during the entire run.. Cross the line around 7500 i believe... versus on stock tires i would be around 8k
that was a 94 trap at 119 on pump... On my meth i trapped 120 with a 97 mph trap in the 1/8th... it was breaking up really bad so i was making no power or i would have trapped 123-124.
Cheers!

No you got it rite. Due to the fact that the larger tire is squeezed on a the same size rim the outer diam. goes up. The stock wheel and tire combo has a diam. of 25.1 and my new combo has a diam. of 26.1. Almost all tire manufacturers have this info on there web sites to let you know the exact size and the amount of rotations that tire will give you at x amount of speed. This combo is not for corners and I would only recomend it to someone looking for those extra mph in the quarter. Its a great ride and handles good enough for me but will increase body roll. Thanks fo the questions.
How high are you leaving? I have found its a pretty tight balance to leave correctly and not spin...or end up with a little bog. My clutch action is pretty solid but leaving at 6375 I can leave with a minimum of spin and pull 1.6's, drop it to 6k or so and they instantly turn into 1.7's no other changes.
Ok here's my question. I'm another victim of the infamous short Evo IX 4th gear. This past weekend I ran my best of an 11.66@117mph hitting the rev limiter in 4th just at the finish line at around 8,300rpms. I have another racing event coming up in April and i'd like to do whatever I can to get a better time but money is somewhat tight for cams still. What will this tire size change do for me? With all things the same will I see a 3-4mph increase and potentially drop my 1/4 time by 2-3 tenths?

Very cool news Impresev. I just bought 4 new tires today but went with same as stock 235/45 R17. I have Sumitomos now but haven't flexed them at all yet... Pm me if you roll out there again..

Yes if you run this tire combo you will pick up aprox. 4 mph with no other changes.
I would also look into a clutch if you can swing it, I picked up some mph when I switched from stock. The stock clutch can sometimes slip at the higher rpm's and you might not even know it.
