New track times

Stock turbo, stock cams@30psi 100% meth
Mods in my sig. Are these times and traps up to snuff with my setup? I was pretty impressed, I only expected maybe an 11.7 at best. The slip on the left is an 11.717 incase it's too blurry to read.

11.6s on the stock turbo are always great. People have made significantly more power with those mods, but you can't complain about an 11.66...

So I take it this would be a at least on par with my mods then. I still need to get cams to maximize this setup then it's time to upgrade to the 20glt.

IMO, any 11.6s on the stock turbo with bolt-ons is "on par" at minimum.

No, once I moved to Colorado (6000'), I pretty much had no chance on the stock turbo. I dropped from 12.0s to 12.3s and that's with a bunch of extra mods (highest trap is only 109.5). I may get lucky in a few weeks when I head to California for an SCCA event - I plan to drive up to Fontana for some near-sea-level runs.

Hey Warr, pm me when you'll be racing at Fontana I would like to see you make some passes. BTW, Fontana is not a fast track. 11's on the stock turbo at Fontana would definitely be impressive but then you'll probably be the one to pull it off, lol. Congrats to the OP on your 11 second pass .

Yeah, I know Fontana isn't historically fast, and I think it's due to the 91oct and a bit of elevation (1000+), but it should still be much faster than what I'm used to. For all I know, it may also be uphill with a headwind and a poor launch pad, but I'd rather find out on my own. My 12.3 at this altitude was before the IX turbo, and I made another 25whp with the IX upgrade, so I should be even closer to 11s at this altitude, thus my expectation to have a "chance" at Fontana.

Additionally, I'm adding an ETS IC kit (FMIC, UICP, LICP, mini-battery) this week along with a switch to E-85 on 880s and a full retune, so who knows...I may even approach 11s up here, but I won't know until the tracks open. I'll be in Cali before the tracks open in CO, so that may be my first attempt.

EvoTio, the SCCA event is March 15-16 at Qualcomm, and Fontana is open Friday the 14th for TNT. I plan to drive up there Friday evening, but I hear it's very crowded with only a few runs per person. Doesn't leave much room for error, but my car hasn't changed in terms of tires/clutch/etc, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Excellent but it makes the launch a little tricky the way mines setup. If I hit the two step it starts spraying so right at the last yellow before the green light on the tree I lay into it full throttle and the split second the revs reach 5,800rpms on my 2step I let that clutch out with the quickness. I was getting consistant 1.6 60ft's all day so it seems to be a good method.
