California Speedway

My track time at California Speedway last night:

R/T: .309
60: 2.010
330: 5.507
1/8: 8.460
MPH: 5.63
1000: 10.892
1/4: 12.801
MPH: 112.30

I still can't seem to drop my 60 foot time on the stock clutch, however I have the launch limiter set to 4,800 RPM.

Ouch, that slow on a Green with S1 cams? Oof.

Yeah, 4800 is lower than stock, and stock is already too low. Trying to launch from 4800 will achieve a few things:
- Burned out clutch in a short amount of time
- Terrible 60's
- Lots of frustration

I plan to be there Friday the 14th to see if I can finally hit 11s...

5.5K-6K RPM is where you should set it.

I thought the track prep was good but of course you hear the people around you talking how "everybody is running slow today" My times for Saturday were...
Pass 1 Pass 2
R/T .050 .120
60' 1.640 1.641
330 4.864 4.862
1/8 7.590 7.590
MPH 91.89 91.89
1000 9.971 9.968
1/4 11.974 11.968
MPH 112.60 112.81

What event is on the 14th, I could use another track day hopefully not as busy or warm.

As far as the OP I think you are launching way to low. I don't have launch control I guess I am old school I just like to launch based on feel but... My launch is around 6-6.5k, I just can't launch that low with out riding the clutch which on my car equals wheel hop.
