Well it was my first time at a drag strip. Man what a blast though!


Any way i was able to get in three runs. My first was my best at 12.6 @ 113. My 60' was like 1.8. My next two runs were about a 1/10'th off and i had some crappy sixty foots in the 2's.


I have an MR with big 18" Volks and im wondering if that hurts my time at all.
My mods are,

Stock clutch

I put down like 355hp and 360lbs torque.

your setup should be in the mid 11's, my buddy ran mid 12's without cams in his 03 evo.
what kind of volk wheels do you have?

 

Well it was my first time & I don't think the 6speed helps in the 1320.

 

I have ce28's F 18X10.5 R 18X9.5

 

Not bad considering its your first time at the track.

So what is a typical cars ET with a trap of 113. Am i way off?

 

I would say 11's.I have seen guys run 11.9 with 110 traps speed but they are doing a 1.6 60'.

 

Good runs but just keep practicing. With the amount of power your putting out, you better start saving up some money for a new clutch.

 

Well 3 runs and only 15K on the car. The clutch is still practically new. Once its starts slipping I'm going for a twin plate.
