For a catback? I wouldn't waste my money or time until I had more mods on it. At least have the rest of the exhaust upgraded to 3" first.

The OP stated that he had a TBE, not a catback.

And as always, a tune is always recommened for optimal results/performance

I put race gas in without tuning it so im sure my performance suffered. And I had winter tires. They wouldn't allow me to use my laptop so i couldn't tune the race gas. I will go back and hit 12.5 for sure.

And what's their reason for that?
Sounds like a bunch of BS they are trying to tell you. Alot of people bring their laptop to the track, not only to test n tune, but also to acquire data.

Dont worry, it will only get better

With turbo back and cone filter I'm trapping at 106 MPH.

What rpms do you shift at and how quickly do you shift? Do you shift quick enough to get that diff slap or smooth to avoid it?

my shifting sucks i think, around 0.4 seconds. so if I can get that down to 0.25 that could cut down 0.5 seconds off my ET

The reason I asked is because I tried 2 shifting methods.

1. Real quick that the diff slap action occurs
2. Smooth shifting to avoid diff slap

It sort of seems that I was trapping higher with the smoother shifting. The car would sort jerk back and forwardth a little when shifting really hard. Maybe it was just getting heat soaked from a lot of back to back runs that I was doing....
