Just got back from the Track

The Car ran decent I guess. I really wanted an 11 sec pass. The first run was the best. However, the clutch slipped pretty bad on the launch. I ususally spin a little bit on the street when I launch. The IHRA big dogs ran at the track last week, so the track was hooking like a ****....on the second run i nearly side stepped the clutch....tach went to 7300 then back down...horrible 60fts. If I could of got a 1.7/1.6 I think I would have got my 11 sec.

Specs are in my sig,

The only thing that changed is Scott from TTP sent me over a 110 flash and I was running 27-28 psi of boost. I also have 255/40/17 RT615s. I guess they were sticking to the track My clutch still smells Better than breaking a TC

I actually tried to get it to spin....witch happens on the street. It didnt spin at all. I did some launches today on an old farm road...its was fine. I could get it to spin the tires like normal. The track was REALLY FREAKIN STICKY, the NHRA top fuel was running a few days ago. There were people breakin stuff all night long...Mustang GT500 with 600 HP tried to launch...bang! Then you hear over the tower"...well folks the track is hookin".

My Tire psi was 35 psi on all 4. I didnt thouch them...if it would have spun bad I would have dropped some pressure.

Need to work on that launch Kyle. With a 1.68 60', you would have an 11.7 pass or so.

I know, I was pullin my hair out...However I think I need a new clutch, or its preloaded because I adjusted it out to far on the pedal. I did a test today in 3rd from 4K, I stabbed it and it slipped a few hundred RPM and then can back down. I think it just might be glazed from the bad launch. Im going to adjust the pedal down a little and take it easy for a few days and see if it will clean up (get rid of the glaze). Im not even sure if its possible

Please PM me info on that clutch you were working with with a SPEC pressure plate. Oh yea thanks for the FLASH bro!

Yea, the car is flashed very safe. Its not road tunded. I told Scott make it safe, I got stock head studs ect. My buddy looked at the tune and was like "Uh....there is hardly any timming in this thing". I said yea "I want to keep the motor in one piece ). I was thinking with a dyno/road tune it should go 117-118
