12.4 Bogged out 125mph :)
Motul. You can either use 90PA which is like OEM but a little better. Or the fully ester synthetic Gear Comp 75W140 which alot of rally cars use in Europe. Its not cheap but I prefer it. Amsoil is also good.
Edit: here's where I buy all my Motul products. http://www.motorspotstore.com/gearcomp75w140.html

You can use the e brake method or just make sure to slip the clutch enough off the line at part throttle. Either way will pre load the driveline without shocking it. You just can't let the clutch suddenly grab at full throttle. Kind of like creeping out from a normal stop light at part throttle just enough to feel the car start to roll and then slip as neccessary to avoid the bog, which for me is just enough to get the boost up.
The best way to come out is on a hand brake, but you have to be careful not to creep through it or bog and for me I always screw it up.

Well this wouldn't matter because you aren't moving while using it. My buddy uses this method on an ACD, but it is an evo 8. I am not sure if there is a difference, but that wouldn't make since that the e brake would effect the ACD at a standstill since the ACD is doing nothing until you move.
The handbrake method is tricky on the ACD evos. If you pull it too much it will disengage the diff and basically make it fwd. If you try launching like that is spells disaster.
To help with driveline shock. This is what I have learned and works. When the second yellow light comes on barely let the clutch out where you can just feel it start to grab. By the time the tree engages let it out and this will basically take the driveline shock away.

sure, basically when you are in gear, you let the clutch pedal up to point of engagement where your car will creep forward slightly... now apply the e brake from keeping you from moving while keeping the clutch pedal at the same location. This will lessen the driveline shock and allow you to release the clutch pedal more quickly with less chance of bogging (assuming your 2 step is dialed in correctly)
If the car is properly set up you can absolutely make well over 700whp on a stock transfer case. Our car is still on the stock transfer case/rear and axles from 2003. We run the stock 03 front diff with an LSD insert. Wheelhop and dumping the clutch will destroy any transfer case.

I suggest that customers start off on lower boost and try a few easy launches and then work their way up in boost and gradually get used to it
Learning to lauch a high whp awd car without braking parts is a skill that anyone can learn it just takes a bit of practice and trial and error
Also - it is important to remember that the drag track is a lot more stickey than a public road so when you practice on a street its a lot more grippy on the track
For most people I would suggest avoiding the hand brake system till you master the art of feathering the clutch to ease the load on the gear and then progressivly applying more pressure as you begin to roll

I think i just need to fly down there and show Steve how to drive his $200k car
I really fell like the ACD system is very strong. I abused it every which way to sunday with no carnage to the thing. I know ive never dumped my clutch and always had Stock Struts at the time so maybe that helped. Also had stiffer bushing in the mustache bar???
