IX RS Deja Vu
Thanks everyone. I'm going to pass on Moroso tomorow. I'm going to Orlando next. I am thinking of installing my new Tilton Twin Carbon Clutch first. I want to sell my Exedy Twin before I abuse it. I also just bought a new truck to tow the evo around so I can get it to Orlando fairly easy now. Just looking for a trailer and we'll be set. She's gotten spoiled being towed around the last few weeks and says she doesn't want to be driven on the streets anymore
LOL...

LOL...We have a new toy for you here in Orlando also!

Thanks and I haven't run on a slick yet. I'm on a great DOT tire. I could try it, not sure if the times would be any better.
Lucas is on a street tire and at full weight. But he is also on a fully built aluminum motor. It is a very well thought out set up, and runs on ethanol. Its actually kind of cool, because he is making 100 more hp, but the weight difference makes it up for me. I'm told we are at about an 800# difference which would make sense looking at the numbers. I think its also cool that he shows all the details about his path as I have with mine. He is trying for 10's in a more daily drivable car, but with money spent in the motor. I am trying for 10's in an almost stock car, but have taken the lightweight path which for the most part is free. It is just a compromise. Both paths are great for people to see. They are both yielding great returns and we will both hit 10's next time out I'm sure. If I had his motor in the car I am confident you would see it run about a 10.60-10.70@130. Hey Lucas, can I borrow your motor? LOL....

actually if you were making 500whp you would be alot closer to 10.2-10.40.. 800lbs is approx 8/10ths and you guys are locked up.. I talked with curt brown today and he went 10.4 on a 16g in his dsm with less hp than lucas but in a light street car.. my guess if you made 500whp you might actually break curts 10.59 record on stock turbo.. its all bench racing but i think my guess is near accurate..

Car definitely looks good. Lucas is on cheap 245-40-17 Federal street tires (they are siped though :P ). Saying Ethanol, Methanol, or anything makes it count less is ridiculous since MW's car is on C16 (technically Lucas is on pump fuel). I am not taking away from these really fast stock turbo times in anyway however.
Congratulations on the 11.01 and we look forward to continued competition. Cars are really cool because of the various ways you can go to achieve the same goal and times.
