IF your clutch was not pre-loading you would not need one. just a heads up.

if you don't preload the drivetrain you just break ****....

just so you kno..

Brandon best thing to do is pick up a summit racing catalog, use one of the random master cylinder setups and make Bean make you a lever...I would think anyway!

When trying to bump into the lights on anti-lag in competition it is definitely needed.

What about the rolling foward problem while clutch disengaged..Not trying to be stupid, but seriously, that clutch pre load.
I could be wrong but I thought I saw a post about this car rolling foward while clutch is engaged.

Not necessarily, you do not need to be under load at the light to ensure drivetrain lash is nil..I think you are thinking I am saying he is doing this on purpose which is not the case.

The problem is trying to bump into a pro-tree while on anti-lag. If it were a test and tune day then there would not be a problem. He could double bulb the car and just come on the anti-lag and leave whenever he knows the car has boost. Try to bump into the 2nd light while on anti-lag and not have the car roll through the beams with out an e-brake or some sort of stage brake. I can sit on the anti-lag with the clutch on the floor on both our car and Brandon's and they both don't roll.

Has anyone looked into maybe using a standard line lock? Should be a bit easier and just uses a solenoid and a button. Has to be lighter.
