Nitto 555R DR's with Enkei RPF1 17x8.5 wheels. I've yet to let much air out... I've been as low as 25psi in them so far... I may go back Friday if the weather holds out.

Nice times! I run around the same 1/8th as you and turn 11.1's right now. Nice driving for sure and get to a 1/4 mile track and lets see some numbers You are very close to 10's. Are you running AEM?

Wouldn't you run faster times with smaller rims and beefier tires so you can run lower pressures?

If he has the stock Brembo brakes then it won't be possible.

AMS sells a Wilwood brake kit which allows you to run as small as a 15" wheel.

Unless it's a track only drag car I personally wouldn't do it. his 1.5x-1.6x 60'ft times are good enough to net him a good 1/4 times.

It's pretty much a drag car but still fine on the street. It has no A/C or heat and all the sound deadening has been removed. I've removed a lot of little things but it still has door panels, dash, carpet, etc... I remove the seats and anything that comes out easy at the track... with 1/2 tank maybe a little more of gas it weighed 2830 w/o me in it.

This track is somewhat slick... at a fully prepped track i would expect low 1.5x's all night long. I just can't justify spending all the money for a small brake kit for 15 or 16's right now.... I want some aggressive cams and the FP red and I'll be happy for a while I think my car will provide an excellent example of the Green/Red difference and I can provide weights and things like that... it's just a matter of dealing with some downtime to sell the green and coming up with the rest of the $$$.

1/4 mile comes within the next 2 weeks. I'd really like to toss in a set of cams but I can't really afford to do so right now... I really want a 10.99999 but if I can hit 11.0-1 on a 75k mile completely stock motor other than cams and head studs I'd be happy for now.
