As keith said there is only 1 word to describe why the cars in PR haul ***.. Its not cause the track is down hill, its not cause the track is short, its not cause they use nitrous.. it because of 1 thing..

DEDICATION!!

These race 3-5 days a week.. cars break at the track on test and tune nights and they swap motors to run again.. They are nothing short of hardcore.. 1 day i will make the trip over to run my car there and experience whats its like to party and race all week long in PR..

9.59 all boost is incredible.
The thing is it has been posted already on the other thread with the mods. He have provied pictures of almost every part of the car, engine bay, front/side/rear shot, tire shot. Now we got the weight w/o driver and the hp #'s. Also there was a pretty clear post on the other thread about the mods but it was edited because it called out the person that keeps doing all the accusations... Questioning the nature of his ongoing/constant accusations and probably basing them on the fact of how modded his car and how crappy his e.t's are. Either way guys remember this is a business also, People will never say the exact 100% modlist and so dont expect it they have been more than compliant. If it was my car all that I would have said was the turbo and that it has a 4 cyl engine . They showed pictures of the car and just from that you can see what most of the things they have or don't have. Obviously expect some wild engine work and prob a set of nice cams. Other than that the list of mods is pretty easy to obtain by just looking at it. And lets be direct/down to earth here... if you are asking for a list of mods then i am 100% sure you the chances of you ever going that fast are very very minimal.

The tracks are ok like it has been said when they go to the states they post better times... Dont compare 80-90degrees with 80% humidity to 50-60 degrees with less than half of the humdity. The thing is they have a great driver/tuner/shop/parts. Do you have any idea how much they practice? They go to the track prob 3-4x a week 365 days a year; also if I am not mistaken PR is one of the biggest consumers of VP Race fuels in the world, can someone confirm that? I really dont know how true it is but I am pretty sure we are in the top 2-3... The driver drives so many cars it is no joke. Seems like one day we will have an evo shootout and roly will probably be driving half the field lol. Javier and Colo work on the cars day in and day out @ the shop/track. The reason why they are doing those times are simple:
Dedication, perseverance, creativity,never giving up

I am def. looking into the PF Red as a replacement for my stock turbo, once I max it out.

These guys are def no joke when it comes to racing. Just back it up with a video or a time slip so there is no speculation that it actually occurred.

To all those reading this with bigger turbos and less trap speeds/times - I laugh!

Congrats!!

Bump for an answer?
Sorry if you think I bump your question, time slip has reading at differents points:

60',594',1/8,1/4, I don't know why this system has 594' time results.

I could probably do 8 seconds in my car if I completely took everything off of it and just ran on a chassis a stock motor and stock turbo. What do I win?

There needs to be some kind of weight factor with all of these runs. No doubt that is fast no matter what, but boxing has it, why doesn't EvoM ? For comparatively speaking, the weight of the car needs to be disclosed.

Other day same history, you are very good with math, you calculate weigh, horsepower and everything from your home. So, why you need the information? You know what?

Red turbo charger - Credit card
Racing parts -Credit card
Racing slick tires -Credit card
Knowledge to put all things together and good driver Priceless.
You can buy everything but knowledge and driving skills. And I personally think you do not have it. Every time I read a post here, you always is questioning or speculating about Puerto Rican results. You spend too much time taking care about altitude and other BS things. Why you should know all the modifications? To be a copy cat?

Spend more time in the shop and the track and maybe you will be faster.

I don't know what you're babblng about. You quoted my post which was in response to "Randy" saying it doesn't matter what parts they used or anything like that. I never said I didn't believe it either, I said it was incredible. I just said don't brush it off, you can have secrets, but we are a community and we share results good or bad. The FP Red is the hottest topic on the boards these days and when you rip off a 9 second pass with a modded Evo 9 turbo you owe it to the people to at least provide a little insight on how you did it.

they owe it to us? that would be like having an F1 team disclose all the results of their R&D to the general public. the car ran a 9.9XX with a green so it wouldnt suprise me that the red would improve times. Im thankful that there are guys out there developing these new products and technologies so that i can base my decisions off of their results. All they "owe us" would be proof of the time and thats it. Anything more would be out a personal desire to better the evo community, which would be greatly appreciated. Congrats on the times and keep up the good work.

Notice I said owe it to us to provide a "LITTLE" insight.

Poor choice of words on my part I guess. Of course they don't have to share anything, but all the other vendors and guys going fast at least share mod lists and dyno charts. It sure would be nice of them and I don't see what they have to lose by doing it. They don't have to tell us how much timing they run at peak torque or anything like that but they are not losing even 1/10000 of what an F1 team would lose by disclosing their secrets. Don't try to make that comparison. Plus, no one asked for any secrets or R&D, just a basic mod list, weight, etc...

If they are a vendor of their own parts, it would be great if they disclosed any parts they used. I would be sure those parts were on my car.
