The FP Red is the hottest topic on the boards these days and when you rip off a 9 second pass with a modded Evo 9 turbo you owe it to the people to at least provide a little insight on how you did it.

All they "owe us" would be proof of the time and thats it. Anything more would be out a personal desire to better the evo community, which would be greatly appreciated. Congrats on the times and keep up the good work.

Poor choice of words on my part I guess. Of course they don't have to share anything, but all the other vendors and guys going fast at least share mod lists and dyno charts. It sure would be nice of them and I don't see what they have to lose by doing it. They don't have to tell us how much timing they run at peak torque or anything like that but they are not losing even 1/10000 of what an F1 team would lose by disclosing their secrets. Don't try to make that comparison. Plus, no one asked for any secrets or R&D, just a basic mod list, weight, etc...
I think he answered better than me. They HAVE SHARED MOST OF THE DAMN MODLIST, CAR WEIGHT, hp. What do you want do you want them to build your own car? Well they can but you have to pay for it obviously. This is a sport and a business. In the comparasion of the f1 well it is no where even 1/10 of the money played in f1 but hey which formula 1 team can honestly say. Fastest in the world with a 2.4L v8? lol They have posted almost every info you can know about the car other than what is in the engine internally and that my friend is trade secrets. Oh wait wait wait wait wait since I have a mustang let me call justin @ jpc to see what he has on his car and tell him he owes it to me and the community to give me all the parts and tricks he put on his car to run that time. Hmm might as well call john force because he run's a "mustang" thats hilarious lol

All i got to say this is all trial and error they have been working VERY hard trying different parts, combinations ect (this is what alot of people dont see) they have achieved what most havent. IMO asking what mods the car has is ok but when it comes to DEMANDING thats going to obviously create friction. Again its all trial an error go out to the track and do the same you will get there some day

I really don't care what parts are on the car, it's very quick period. The guys in PR have spent plenty to find their combo and everyone expects to for them to give it up...get real...do your own home work and stop being lazy. Or better yet spend your money and get tuned by JVM.

I remember driving home from the track in the back of Chuco's Evo and starting to fall asleep since it was after 2am. Its not only there knowledge but there dedication to racing that makes there cars so fast....a few little PR secrets don't hurt either.

First off sincere congrats to all those involved over there in PR with this car it is what a real race car should be......quick....fast....and a bit controversial for all the non-believers

After talking to Eric Jones (AMS) the other day at the shop.....i asked him how the scene was in PR and let me say from the sound of it we here in the US don't have **** on these guys!

Friday night's hanging out at the dyno buying beer from the gas station right out front ........now that's PRICELESS.......only do hit the strip almost every other day if not more.........there should be no questions as to why these guys are making headlines on a regular basis!

100% in agreement!!

Everybody claims and want to know the right way.
It's not knowing what works. It's knowing what does not work matters the most!
Every combination is different.
What works for one will not for the other.
It's dedication to the cause that normally give the best results.
The rest is just hype!

Big congrats to the entire crew!!!

Well I DO care what parts are on the car, because THEY are obviously doing something right. I pay for parts for OTHER people to do their research and develop and sell parts so that I can buy them.

My mods list below all contain parts that were developed and created by companies, whom from which I bought parts from. I paid them for the material, and the research. It's called a business model. This is even more important if they have a vested interest in disclosing the parts, as this will make me buy their products. I'm not asking for all of their tricks and trades here, just curious as I am interested in upgrading my turbo to an FP Red and would benefit them if I knew more about the turbo and what works and what does not. I'll probably be buying the turbo as a result... It only helps them to market what they develop and race, especially if the results are what they say they are. Thats impressive!

Got it genius?

You bring your car to them and i am sure if you spend the $$ you will get the same results if driven exactly the same.. However there is no loyalty on the internet and they are not going to give out their secret combinations so you can go buy all the parts to do it at your local shop.. Buschur doesnt do it, we dont do it, AMS doesnt do it.. Bring your car to the shop and pay the money and they will do it..

Also, i would watch your genious comments.. your disrespecting a very well respected individual on here and no vendor with any self respect is going to tolerate your nonsense..

It has an intake, intercooler pipes, intercooler, an exhaust and the FP red. The rest is years of know how. You buying the exact same parts will never net you the same results.

And I bet Indy Evo will forget more about cars then you will ever know. The genius comment was completely out of line, like most of your posts.

Congrats to the crew involved, that car is amazing fast.

Just let him be...hey he has the parts list for his car on his signature. We should really thank him for that. I really didn't know what took to get a 350whp evo. Prob he is running it in the high 12's. Like I said they posted almost all the parts, weight, tires etc. If you are asking for a mod list I am pretty sure you will never be that fast lol. This is just hilarious
