Come on, Evovin, that's not a good reply. He's not going to just jump up 74whp by adding meth. He has a great list of mods, but the car is VERY slow for those mods, imo. He really needs to run a full 1/4 to be sure, but from what I see in the 1/8th, the car is pretty weak relatively speaking.

Nothing wrong with the driving - just looks weak in the 1/8th at this point. Don't make any judgements until you run a full 1/4, though. HFCs definitely hurt power, too...

Im with you on this one! But I didn't say adding just meth will add 74whp...TTP seems like they have a good recipe on their meth+tuning on stock ECU.IMO

Justin
What RPM did you shift on that run? 86mph is kinda slow for your mods esp on Evo9.
We are going back to Tampa in couple months maybe you want to go with us this time

Yes, you did...I quoted you.

He's at 326. To get 400, he'd have to gain 74 by adding meth, which is all you said.

I was hopeing to get your input, dont know when and if i will ever get a chance to run the 1/4. I think shifting was around 7,600-7,800. Power is most likley falling off around that rpm, might need to make adjustments to my shifting points. That night the TP was 35 rear 30 front which might explain the low trap speeds, that and the humidity wasnt helping. I'll try and post up the dyno graph next chance i get. Maybe you could get a little bit more insight from it.

Power falls off 1000 rpm before that. You're shifting way too high for the stock turbo even with cams, imo. Shift at 7100-7200. That tire pressure has no bearing on your trap speeds.

Me and you have very similar mods except cams. I have HKS 264/272 combo. I'm also getting dyno tuned this weekend so I'll post up my numbers as well so you can compare. I have full bolt ons with cams and mbc set at 23 psi as well. I ran a best of 8.0 in the 1/8th and 12.6 in the 1/4. So were not much different.
