First time out with the FP Green & E85!

I finally was able to run my car at Lapeer dragway on Sunday. WOW, what a hot day! Temps were in the mid to high 80's with no cloud cover. Made it to the track by 9:45, prepped the car and let it kool off. This is my first time to the strip with the FP Green and E85 for fuel. This is my daily driving map that is only at 26psi at redline, not a maxxed tun set on kill lol.

I made my first run right at 11:00 when they started running the cars and had a real nice first pass....ran a 11.10 @ 124.8. Then, I heard over the speakers to go to tech. I thought Oh crap, I didn't think this would happen at Lapeer. Sure enough I was told to only run the 1/8 mile as I was too quick and fast to run without a cage so on. Even my timeslip said "go to the gate" lol.
I made a few 1/8 mile passes and then ended up leaving. The car didn't miss a beat, and ran flawlessly.

This is with "only" 361 whp from a very low reading Mustang dyno (much lower than other Mustang dynos).

My FP Red is coming back from Swain coating this week. I am also swapping out my comp 280 cams for some Kelfords Overall I am very happy with only getting 1 full run with this setup. More work on my 60fts would of put me in the 10's easy...oh well....next time.

Here is the timeslip. PPI FTW!

Thanks man!

I was shifting at 7200rpm

My car without me weights 3130. I am 175lbs.
I actually picked up some slicks for the car and this was the first time out with them. The car spins horribly with my Falkens on it. They hooked good on this run, but again that was my only full run. I made a couple 1/8 runs but the car had too much traction (I realize now I needed to raise my 2step) and bogged a few times actually lol.

Really nice 1/8 mph and times. Your midrange must be awfully good. Also, I would agree with the dyno numbers being very low. Nice job.

Nice times man! Especially the 1/8mi.

Welcome to the 1 run and get kicked out club

What kinda fuel set-up you running?

I'm considering the switch to a red and e85 once our local station opens up this month but just unsure if i'll need to throw in the double pumper i have sitting around.

Thanks Patrick B.
Lapeer is a backwoods track too....I really thought they would leave me alone. Now I am contemplating building a cage, but we will see.

I am running a single pump now with FIC 950's with E85. My red is going on this weekend and I will upgrade to RC1200's most likely as well as a Twin Blown pump setup. I was contemplating trying to do the red and a single pump, but I don't want to have any issues from trying to save a few $$. E85 just takes so much fuel as you know. I want to be on the safe side.

not to jack the thread, but can someone go into some detail as to why this 1/8 - 102mph is killer. the last time i was at the track i ran 102.51@1/8 with a 1.819s 60'. this ended up being an 11.07s pass, but unfortunately the mph at 1/4 wasn't working. this was on a green, revolvers,vp import,2bar,stock head with a super short gear ratio, JDM RS, shifting 5th. could the ratio help my 1/8 but hurt the 1/4?
