If you seperate it you might as well start the 35r hta fastest list, 37r hta fastest list etc.. Dont divide it and youll have a successful list..

I was hoping to keep this list to stock "appearing" turbos not actually stock turbos. I know some green and red powered cars were on the fastest evo list. Since we already have a fastest evo list and a fastest stock turbo list, i don't know why we can't have just a stock "appearing" list with only greens and reds. So far i think the list has been pretty successful and i think i may keep it the way it is because i know there are still a lot more guys with greens and reds that need to add their times. I know there are plenty of fast stock turbo cars that could easily fill the rest of this list, but as of right now i think i may just keep the list the way it is. I may add stock turbo times to this in the future, well see. Thanks for the input and suggestions though.
Hey your in charge but it appears as stated above more and more people think the stock turbo should make the list also.. I think it would drive people more to see 2-3 stock turbo guys mixed in on the list.. these lists only create competition and thats what i think is the best part about it.. not just so random people can see how fast cars are... just my .02

I say next year, do one thread for all stock and stock appearing turbos. Just keep them separate, so that we can see how they do individually without all the clutter.

Didn't give it much thought at first, but I have to agree with Mike. Stock appearing probably should include the stockies for reference.

That would mean that next year the guy who runs stock turbo list would have to give up his thread.. Why would it make for more clutter?? There are only 2-3 elite cars that could make a list amongst reds and greens.. Its not like there are going to be weekly cars running 10's...

Then change the name of the list. This list is not intended for stock turbos. It's specifically intended for turbos that AREN'T stock turbos but are based off the stock turbo frame. It's semantics. We already have a stock turbo list, but it would be very interesting to have a Green/Red list. There are enough to have both separately.

I guess Evo IX turbo is not stock appearing.. When i look at it the turbo looks the same as green and red.. IDK

*sigh*

That's why my first sentence said, "Then change the name of the list." Why get hung up on the semantics? If he calls it "Non-stock turbos based off the stock frame list for 2008," then is that ok? Of course the stock turbo is stock-appearing, but there are TONS OF US on that list already, so there is no need to include them in a Red/Green list when the point is to see results of Red/Greens due to there being no such list currently.

Ultimately, there would be one each for stock, Green, and Red, but there may not be enough Red/Green results to justify it yet. Hence, this list...

Thanks Clay...this is exactly what i was about to post you just said it before me. The whole idea for the list was for it to be "stock appearing" turbos i.e green & red. Also since i started this list so late in the year I am still just going to stick with it being a green & red list only and not add stock turbos. I know the list isn't full yet and i could easily put stock turbos on there but i am just going to keep it the way it is. I know there are plenty of green and red powered cars that still need to add their times but just haven't seen the thread yet. Maybe the beginning of next year when i start this list up again i may add stock turbos but i still like the idea of having 2 separate lists for stock turbos and stock appearing. I think having 2 lists may give people that are thinking about upgrading to a green or red from a stock turbo, a better idea of what their car may run. With having more room for just green and red powered cars it will give people a better idea on what a maxed on stock appearing turno car can do and what a very minimal modified stock appearing turbo car can do.

Still waiting for more of you green and red turbo guys to add your times!!

Yes there are TONS OF YOU on that list already but only a FEW ELITE cars will make the stock appearing overall list.. Funny for the underdog to ask to be included.. Hey whatever you guys think.. FACT still remains IX turbo is stock appearing to me.. Not sure about you..

I think that POSSIBLY some green and red guys dont want their feelings hurt by a guy with a IX turbo being above them..

Thanks. I was being funny, but i do hope to beat the 9.59 with the RED. Stock turbo will be run one more time before the changes are made. Should be fun trying....

What would it matter who runs the thread? It's more about providing information than anything. Organized information is much better IMO.
