The EVO potential?

Could an EVO trap over 110mph on STOCK turbo? I mean no NOS just boost. Lets say 23psi on race gas and all the bolt ons(DP, Full Exhaust, MBC, E-manage, Intake, Clutch, I dont know if i missed anything as bolt ons). What would the EVO trap?

I've ran a 13.2 1/4mile @ 105 in my stock Evo! It wouldn't take to much to get it up 110. Take out the spare is the 1st place I would start (It doesn't cost any thing)! Then I would get a full exhaust and Intake.

I don't see 105 stock out of the question, especially when cooler air comes around in Fall.

To answer the original question, 110+ MPH wouldn't be too hard with basic bolt-ons. I believe a few of the tuners are running in the 117 MPH range on the stock turbo and I don't doubt there's more MPH to be had.

From what i understood the tuners used NOS over the stock turbo's to get the 117mph right? I'm asking because i just read an atricle in Motor Trend about a HKS EVO. Anyways they were running a GT 2835 and all the supporting parts(Intercooler, fuel system, Engine managment, bolt ons, etc..) To my surprise it only trapped 109.33mph running 17.4psi !!! It also dyno'd at 280whp!!! Im gussing they did the test at a very high elevation, but i though Turbo cars doesnt get affected that much by elevation.

Im sure DP, full exhaust, intake, MBC set at 23psi (Race Gas), S-AFC or E manage(better), 264 exhaust cams, 272 intake cams, head gasket(To be SAFE), larger intercooler, and no wing it should trap easily over 110mph. I would just like to see someone do it.

EDIT: I know the cams isnt a bolt on, but i got carried away thinking of what a good combo would be on an EVO LOL.

Do a search in this forum.

Hell, look two posts below this one and you can see AMS's car running 11.85@115 without nitrous.

Also check out the Buscher website. I think they have run a 12.4 at 111 with basic bolt ons
