Ok so I went to the tracks again last night and ran a 3 times. these are my times
60'=1.809
330= 5.163
1/8= 7.896
mph= 90.37
1000=10.228
1/4= 12.234
mph= 108.34


60'=1.971
330= 5.263
1/8= 8.003
mph= 90.18
1000= 10.342
1/4= 12.319
mph= 113.90


60'= 1.934
330= 5.275
1/8= 8.045
mph= 88.66
1000= 10.418
1/4= 12.419
mph= 112.72

Ok so im asking for help here.. are these times good with my mods.. TBE,cone filter,ebay IC,Meth 50/50 water,self tuned, 29psi tapers down to like 19psi by redline. I was also spinning all of 1st gear..2 step is set at 5500. tire psi was 30 front and about 35 rears.. Any pointers would help me out if the times suck.

 

are the tracks timers off?? how did u run a 7.8 in the 1/8 at only 77 mph? then 8.0 on the next 2 runs at 88 and 90?? Weird. What tires are you running? try lowering tire pressures and see if that helps...work on your 60 fts...if you can cut a low 1.7 you will have high 11s definitely...hopefully that helps...

 

drop the tire pressure and that should help your traction problem and fix the boost...tapering to 19psi at redline?

 

where does it say 77 mph.? it should be 90.37 mph. how would i fix the boost i have a mbc from forge. And what tire pressure do u guys think i should run?

Unless you got off the gas at the end of the track, something was wrong with the timing system on this run. I'm 99% sure of it. A 12.2 at 108mph takes a MUCH better 60'. much much better.

 

come to think of it . on that run i was hitting my rev limiter of 7500 before the end of the track.. after that i raised it to 7800.. do you think i should of ran faster on this run?

Look at my 1/8mile mph: 87.44 mph, compared to your 90.37mph.

You were going 3mph faster than me at the 1/8mile mark and ended up with 1mph less than me in the 1/4!

Like i said, you must have let off or timers were messed up or of course a 7,500 rev limiter.

That would have been at least! a 12.1, probably an 12.0 (maybe a 11.9?) if you turned the same mph as your other runs. I wish i has some extra hp

 

shift faster seems like ur 1000' is to slow for your 1/8 mile u doign something wrong on the back end of the track

 

Where's Warrtalon when someone actually needs him

 

It's not typical people make it to 4th gear before they start having problems shifting...

 

im running almost same mods +CAMS ... but i have an VIII running 12.3 at 114 hahah!!
im hitting 1.8 on 60FT

 

u should be around 380 or so in power

 

With 114 you should be able to get a touch lower time.
